The special attention will be paid to the issues such as conditions of spatial development, privatization of the urban public space, crisis phenomena in cities, revitalization, diversity of interests of social groups, social participation in urban policy, urban conflicts and ways of solving them. The aim of the course is to make students interested in the processes taking place in cities and teach them to analyse the public debate on the directions of urban development.
