Wiedza: Student should know mechanism and causes of the basic historical economic processes. Student should know social, legal and political implications of of historical economic processes Student should know the history of relations between the economy of Poland and the World economy Umiejętności: Student should be able to hypothetically describe the results of the recent economic phenomena basing on the knowledge of the past Student should be able to use historical arguments debating the contemporary problems. Student should be able to critically assess and and use information sources Kompetencje społeczne: Student should be a man of better understanding of the surrounding reality. Student should critically confront the views being present in the public debate with the knowledge of economic history Student should understand functions of basic institution of economy |

Pełny opis: |
The lecture is focused on the introduction of the students to the most important events from the world and Polish economic history and their influence on the contemporary economy. The knowledge of the past events should allow the participants to understand the recent economic processes. Economic history is one of the subjects present for the longest time in the curricula of the academic studies in the field of economy. Its acquaintance is one of the basic conditions for understanding the problems of the modern world. The lecture explains the main processes occurring in the world economy during the last centuries, focusing on the contemporary context of the past events. The lecturers focus on the problems of the market economy but also present the experiences of the centrally planned economy. |
