Skrócony opis:

The programme of academic tutoring at SGH allows to better use students' potential and expand their intellectual horizons. It accounts for cyclical meetings (so called tutorials) of a selected experienced academic teacher (the tutor) and three (possibly two) students. These meetings involve conversations and discussions of readings vital to scientific and professional interests of students, as well as joint research projects as the core element of the tutor system is learning through participation in research into economic and social problems and processes. By participating in the above the student will develop the following skills: independent acquisition of knowledge, self-awareness, applying the acquired knowledge (drawing conclusions, interpreting sources, writing essays and articles) and conveying it (the skill of communication). There are about 8-10 such sessions (tutorials) in a semester, each of 45-60 minutes.
