Skrócony opis: |
Preparation of more complex financial statements for companies and groups under International Financial Reporting Standards. Through case studies students will be taken to an advanced level of accounting treatment of transactions and financial analysis. With this course students should be able to account for complex transactions and to read analyze and to understand a set of financial statements. |

To enable candidates to appreciate the language of accounting and translate transactions into the form of complex financial statements. To give students those skills necessary to prepare, understand, interpret and analyse accounting information. To develop skills in anticipating a course of action by analysing accounting information. |

Efekty uczenia się: |
Wiedza: Student should: 1. Know IFRS based on which Financial Statements are prepared and consolidated. 2. Allocate and recognize components of financial statement necessary to record the transaction of buying/selling the enterprise. 3. Prepare the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. Umiejętności: Student should: 1. Use the language of advanced accounting. 2. Determine financial result from the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS. 3. Ready and understand financial statements in order to assess the company buying/selling transaction. Kompetencje społeczne: Student should: 1. Be able to lead the team of professional accountants in order to prepare the consolidated financial statements. 2. Understand the ethical requirements in accounting regarding proper valuation and recording of selling/buying transaction. |
