Students know the internationalization theories. Umiejętności: 1. Students are able to apply global strategic business analysis to post-communist countries of Central and Eastern Europe. 2. Students are able to analyze firms strategies in Central and Eastern Europe 3. Students know how to prepare an investment strategy in different sectors in Central and Eastern Europe. The course offers students the opportunity to develop and apply concepts in international strategic management. Students work on a variety of situations drawn from the experience of the 'emerging markets' of Central and Eastern Europe or post-socialist countries in general. It is situated at the crossroads of Strategic Management, International Management / Business and International and Cooperative Strategies courses in an area of Eastern European management. |

1. To develop an understanding of the global competitive circumstances and contextual differences of post socialist areas 2. To develop conceptual apparatus for the appraisal and formulation of international competitive and cooperative strategies in emerging markets 3. To provide practice in the application of various tools of strategic thinking and analysis. Course description: A number of traditional and new strategic contexts are covered: entry into foreign markets, global competitive stance, strategic partnerships, institutional business environment and strategy. |
