The course presents origins, principles and mechanisms of the European monetary integration within the European Union. Analysis covers the successive stages of creation and participation conditions of the eurozone. The course includes also an overall description of the monetary and fiscal policies principles in the eurozone. |

| Pełny opis: |
The puropose of the course is the familiarization with the main principles and effects of the monetary integration in the European Union and its prospects. The additional aim of the course is to show the prospects of the Poland`s entry into the eurozone. |

Wiedza: Student will be able to recognize the mechanisms and consequences of monetary integration in the European Union. Student will be able to assess modifications in monetary intergation models Styudent will know different monetary intergation models Umiejętności: 1. Student will be able to estimate the economic and social consequences of monetary integration and recognize the adjustments necessary for the entry into the eurozone.2 2. Student will be able to assess monetary integration facts in light of economic theory and previous monetary integration efforts Student will be able to independently and in an informed manner communicate his/her opinion on projects falling in the realm of monetary integration Kompetencje społeczne: 1. Student will be able to find documents on economic situation of the eurozone countries and the situation of economies of EU countries not partaking in the eurozone 2. Students will be able to professionally assess facts in the area of international monetary integration 3. Students will be able to communicate competently in the area |
