Wiedza: 1. student has theoretical and practical knowledge on cloud markets in the infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) platform-as-a-service (PaaS) models 2. student knows how companies can increase their market advantage by introducing cloud computing services 3. student knows how to optimize cloud computing costs 4. student understands cloud security issues. Umiejętności: 1. student is able to utilize cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) for numerical computations, data collection and building analytical models 2. student is able to compare IaaS and PaaS markets and make decisions that lead to cost decrease in a company 3. student is able to create a code in Python or bash that controls data analytic processes in the cloud Kompetencje społeczne: 1. student has ability to lead a discussion on how cloud computing affects efficiency of IT processes in a company 2. student understands financial issues related to cloud computing technologies 3. student is able to explain and discuss security issues related to cloud computing |

The goal of the classes is to present cloud services market including infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS). Students will get a hands-on knowledge of computing and data processing in the cloud. The classes will be based on practical use cased constructed over the Amazon Web Services platform. |
