Pełny opis: |
The purpose of the course is presentation of selected topics from linear algebra, convex analysis and ordinary differential equations in the context of economic modeling. The course can be treated as a basis for more advanced courses on growth theory, calculus of variations and optimal control theory. This course provides foundations for advanced mathematical economics and optimization courses. The first part covers among others the following topics: bilinear forms, quadratic forms, inner products. The second part includes selected topics ranging from algebra through mathematical analysis related to convex sets and cones. The last part regards ordinary differential equations and selected applications to economic modeling. |
