Wiedza: Understand the main microeconomic phenomena of behavioral theories of decision making at the advanced level. Understand the main microeconomic tools of comparative statics at the advanced level. Understand the main microeconomic phenomena and tools of principal agent problems. Umiejętności: Conduct rigorous microeconomic analysis based on solid theoretical and empirical foundations. Student acquires abilities to use theoretical and empirical knowledge for analyzing concreto microeconomic problems. Read with understanding research papers in microeconomics. Kompetencje społeczne: Contribute to the discussion on modern microeconomic issues. Student understands and is able to advocate advantages of using formal microeconomic analysis. |

The aim of this course is to continue the topics started at the Advanced Microeconomics (222291). Here we focus on selected topics including: time-cosistency, self-control, principal-agent models and auctions as well as develop some monotone comparative statics tools. Students are expected to work on individual papers on current microeconomic topics. |
