Wiedza: The student knows the main tools of comparative statics at an advanced level. The student knows the principal-agent concept and the tools used in its analysis. The student knows and understands the main microeconomic phenomena and modern research methods in microeconomics at an advanced level. The student can critically evaluate the microeconomic models used, including their assumptions, limitations, and results. Umiejętności: The student can read with comprehension and critically analyze scientific articles in the field of microeconomics. The student can conduct scientific microeconomic analysis based on solid theoretical and empirical foundations. The student can justify the selection and application of formal methods of microeconomic analysis. Kompetencje społeczne: The student is ready to actively and substantively participate in discussions on current issues in microeconomics. The student is aware of the importance of formal methods of microeconomic analysis and the responsibilities associated with their application and justification. |

This course focuses on selected advanced micro topics including: time-cosistency, self-control, principal-agent models, ambiguity and auctions as well as some modern monotone comparative statics tools. Students are expected to work on individual papers on current microeconomic topics. |

The aim of this course is to continue the topics started at the Advanced Microeconomics (222291). Here we focus on selected topics including: time-cosistency, self-control, principal-agent models and auctions as well as develop some monotone comparative statics tools. Students are expected to work on individual papers on current microeconomic topics. |
