Efekty uczenia się: |
Wiedza: Students will be able to understand the impact of external and internal factors on the operations strategy and company performance, to design OM strategy, tools and activities to enhance a company value. Students will be able to diagnose and analyse the best practices and key success factors of industry leaders and failures of non performers in the area of OM. Students will recognise the value of standards in excellent OM Students will be able to design their own research on the main OM issues and contingencies and to present their outcomes on public. Umiejętności: Can control the integrity of planned actions vs implemented Can identify the best standards relative to area of operations Can design the effective solutions within the area of OM Can effectively control and manage integrity of plans vs implementation Kompetencje społeczne: Umiejętność współpracy w zespołach w zakresie wspólnego opracowania prezentacji multimedialnej na zajęcia Umiejętność współpracy w zespołach w zakresie wspólnego multimedialnego opracowania wybranego tematu z zakresu OM; Umiejętność wspólnej analizy i wyboru priorytetów w prezentacji zagadnienia na forum grupy; Umiejętność włączania grupy w dyskusję, debatę, grę sytuacyjną lub rozwiązywanie problemów; Umiejętność oceny wartościowych propozycji interlokutorów w celu doskonalenia prezentacji. |

The course is designed to give a broad yet thorough understanding of the role and function of production and operations management (POM) within a business.Case studies will be used to provide students with the conceptual framework of POM.These concepts will be applied to both manufacturing and service firms.After completion of this course students should have a good understanding of POM and its importance within the enterprise as well as a solid base to major in this field. |
