Wiedza: Student will get to know different types of fiscal systems and secured transactions, Students will get to know basic concepts of private law in transformation, Student is capable to indicate differences in the law of commercial companies, contracts and property law between the countries of post-socialist Europe. Umiejętności: Students can distinguish different concepts of different corporate governance regime student can conduct the comparative analysis of companies and contract law as well as property rights across post-soviet countries and describe major factors that formed them, Student can indicate differences in capital market regulations across countries in transformation. Kompetencje społeczne: Student knows at least one foreign language Student knows how to critacly discuss the institutional development |

This course offers an introduction to the economic analysis public law. The aim of the course is to present the interdisciplinary concept of corporate governance by analyzing institutions and mechanisms of corporation supervision as well as institutions and mechanisms ensuring management accountability. In different economic systems, different mechanisms and institutions of management supervision have emerged. Hence, the course takes the systemic view of the governance structures found around the world. |
