Wiedza: Student will get to know the concept of law and its methods. Student will get to know the basic issues in law methodology. Student will get to know the basic problems of comparative law. Umiejętności: Student will be able to describe differences in legal approaches. Student will be able to exploit in practice basic methodological concepts used in law. Student will be able to define, assess and justify basic problems connected with comparative law. Kompetencje społeczne: Student will be able to work in the group. Student understands the democratic societies. |

During the course the student will gain basic knowledge of the theory and philosophy of law with its practical application to various aspects of economy. There will be introduction to basic legal institutions such as legal metods within law and Law & Economics, understanding the concept of law and pending and application of law. There will be presented various methods of legal interpretation as well as the rule of law with an overview of its research in empirical studies. Student zostanie wprowadzony do komparatystyki prawniczej wraz z uwzględnieniem jej podstawowych pojęć oraz stosowanych metod. Student will gain knowledge of the theory of legal systems, in particular the role and families of legal system (German, Latin, Anglo-American legal system). |
