During the course the student will gain basic knowledge of the theory and philosophy of law with its practical application to various aspects of economy. There will be introduction to basic legal institutions such as legal metods within law and Law & Economics, understanding the concept of law and pending and application of law. There will be presented various methods of legal interpretation as well as the rule of law with an overview of its research in empirical studies. Student zostanie wprowadzony do komparatystyki prawniczej wraz z uwzględnieniem jej podstawowych pojęć oraz stosowanych metod. Student will gain knowledge of the theory of legal systems, in particular the role and families of legal system (German, Latin, Anglo-American legal system).
