The course covers a range of theoretical ideas which are connected with development and implementation of the information and communication technologies (ICT) and of new methods of data analysis in the era of Big Data created by human being in the social media and by technical devices

Pełny opis:

The aim of the DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIGITAL ECONOMY 4.0 is to gain advanced knowledge of the role of the digital technologies and new business models in the contemporary economy. The course offers the discussion about the development of the hybrid economy which contains both the analog processes in the real world and the digital processes in the virtual world. The course offers also explanation how to register data and use them to create information and knowledge using data analysis. The key question to discuss is what are the reasons that there are differences in the influence of the digital technologies on the economy in particular sectors of the economy (industry, retail, service providers) and what are the drivers of the changes in the age of automatization (until 2030).

The people who study now will start and continue their career in the next decade independent of the field of their profession (management of enterprises or public bodies, other activities) will be challenged to find a way how to adopt the digital technologies both in the job and private life. The aim of the course is also to present these technologies and develop the understanding how to profit from the new possibilities in the hybrid economy.
