Wiedza: P1A_W01 - the student knows the rules and properties of a given economic sector or sphere of activity, in which the hosting institution (company, organisation) operates. P1A_W02 - the student possesses the basic knowledge of functioning of the hosting organisation (especially its legal form and organisational structure) P1A_W03 - the student possesses the basic knowledge of organizational structure and division of competences within the hosting institution. Umiejętności: P1A_U01 - the student can apply basic theoretical knowledge in practice, among others performing simple analytical tasks. P1A_U02 - the student can gather and analyse basic data from various divisions of the hosting organisation and draw conclusions. P1A_U03 - the student can communicate and cooperate (building a network of contacts) with persons working for different divisions, holding different positions in the hosting organization or coming from different cultural backgrounds. P1A-U04 - the student can cooperate and work within task force/project groups, assuming different roles (of a task performer, organiser or manager). Kompetencje społeczne: P1A_K01 - the student demonstrates the awareness of the significance of team work to achieve success and the responsibility for work done by themselves as well as others. P1A_K02 - the student understands the need and demonstrates the ability to develop own knowledge and skills. |

Internship should allow the student to develop the skills necessary to use theoretical knowledge in practice, in particular to get acquainted with the most important characteristics of the hosting company (institution) and to solve simple professional problems. |

The aim of the internship is to give the student the opportunity to develop the skill to use theoretical knowledge within the field of international economics and related sciences, possessed in the course of the first cycle studies. In particular, the student should become acquainted with crucial aspects of functioning of the hosting organization (a company, including an international corporation, public administration institution oriented at international cooperation, international organization). Moreover, the student shoud develop the skills to identify, diagnose and solve professional problems, and develop personal work-related characteristics, such as: reliability, responsibility, creativity, teamwork skills and ethical behavior. |
