Wiedza: Students will acquire the knowledge concerning the geopolitical context of China's politics and policies. Students will acquire the knowledge concerning the infrastructural context of China's politics and policies. Students will acquire the knowledge concerning the economic context of China's politics and policies. Umiejętności: Students will be able analyze the dynamics of the changes in China's foreign relations Students will be able to interpret changes in China's foreign relations Students will be able analyze the changes in Chinese home policies Kompetencje społeczne: Students will be provided with a broad overview of problems and issues concerning China's geopolitics. Students will be introduced to political and economic patterns of one of the most internationally important Asian countries. |

The purpose of the course is to give an overview of internal and external determinants of Chinese politics and policies, PRC's relations with both Developed and Developing World and Chinese geopolitical status. The analysis of Chinese geopolitics will be situated in broader context of contemporary challenges to PRC development. |
