Wiedza: A versatile enhancement of knowledge related to cultural, economic and historic underpinnings of American philosophy of life as observed and analysed in the selected masterpieces of American cinematographic art. Improvement and utilisation of linguistic skills thanks to extensive immersion into the English-only based content. Extensive guidelines for self-study and self-development. Umiejętności: Discussion modes and discourses. Group interaction and team work. Techniques of interacting with the audience (psychological tools such as minority influence etc.). Expressing and substantiating ones point of view. Analytical skills. Synthetic skills. Extensive self-controlled homework assignments enforcing and promoting time management and consistency of studying and self-studying. Fundamental linguistic competences of listening, speaking and writing. Kompetencje społeczne: Interaction in discussion and consensus in groups and teams. Cultural interaction between students of diversified national and ethnical backgrounds. |
