Wiedza: students should be able to define the concept of a system and be able to classify systems students should know the methodology of analyzing information systems students should know the terminology and methods associated with business process modeling Umiejętności: Students should be able to create a model of business processes implemented in the organization. Students should be able to: create a conceptual data model. Students should be able to use applications supporting process modeling for the purposes of implementing management information systems. Kompetencje społeczne: Students should be able to combine business and technological view on the functioning of acompany. Students should: communicate at the appropriate level of detail with users and application developers, be able to provide a communication bridge between business and software developers. |

System analysis is a research approach in social sciences, recognizing the concept of system and its analysis as crucial for understanding complex phenomena. Therefore, systems analysis methods are used to describe modern information systems, whose complexity is constantly increasing due to the growing possibilities of information technology applications. The system analysis has become a key element in the development of management information systems. The system analysis allows to identify and model functional requirements for IT systems. The aim of the course is to learn about contemporary methods and tools for analyzing information systems. |
