  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;
  • tygodniowy nakład pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się pozwala uzyskać 1,5 ECTS;

Wiedza:

After successful course accomplishment student should:

have a knowledge concerning basic principles of public statistics research, with particular emphasis on EUROSTAT and international organizations research,

acknowledge basic economic statistics development directions and its role in modern state,

knows and understands the basic concepts associated with the phenomena and processes which are the subject of economic statistics studies, particularly in the concept of national accounts (output, intermediate consumption, consumption, accumulation), ways of determining GDP, measures of economic development, analysis of the household sector, valuation of categories of household production,

knows and understands the methods of analysis of basic macroeconomic phenomena and processes, which are being the subject of economic statistics studies.

Umiejętności:

After successful course accomplishment student can:

use and specify a range of statistical information needed for the analysis of specific economic phenomena and processes;

formulate a thesis and research hypothesis and interpret statistical data on economic phenomena and processes;

interpret and perform a statistical analysis of the results.

Kompetencje społeczne:

After successful course accomplishment student shows:

the ability to use quantitative approach to identify changes in selected economic phenomena;

understanding the needs of analysis of macroeconomic phenomena at state and world level;

awareness of professional responsibility in the work of institutions and entities, which require the use of statistical and econometric tools.

The objective of the course is to provide students with knowledge and practical appliance of public statistics background, macroeconomic indicators and factors, modern methods of analytical research and economics inference. Students will acquire a knowledge concerning the information of the system of national accounts, GDP construction and household sector in Poland and UE countries.
