In particular, a student knows and understands ways in which four economic freedoms of the Single European Market operate. 3. Student knows the effects of functioning of the internal market. Umiejętności: 1. Student is able to analyse the functioning of four freedoms of the EU internal market. 2. Student is able to critically assess the functioning of four freedoms of the EU internal market. 3. Student is able to identify main principles and legal rules underlying the operation of companies on the Single European Market. Kompetencje społeczne: 1. Student acquires skills in team work (in teams preparing presentations). 2. Student proves the ability of multi-plane perception of phenomena accompanying European integration processes. |

The course is intended to get students acquainted with rules, as well as effects of the internal market of the European Union (single European market). The course will focus on four freedoms of the internal market (freedom of the movement of goods, persons, capital and services): their legal basis and practical. Internal market (Single European Market) as a stage of European economic integration. Reasons of the internal market implementation and the legal basis. Economic benefits. Decision in the EU and its impact on the effectiveness of the internal market. Free movement of goods, capital, persons and services. Harmonization of taxes. Rules of competition policy.
