Efekty uczenia się: |
Wiedza: 1. Student knows different concepts, techniques and models developed to study the determinants and levels of international competitiveness. 2. Student knows basic concepts connected with competitiveness and understands the difference between competitive position, competitiveness and ability to compete. 3. Student knows external aspects of competitiveness, like Foreign Direct Investments or processes of globalization and regionalization in global economy. 4. Student understands the role of innovation and institutions as ones of the most important factors driving international competitiveness. Umiejętności: 1. Student is able to analyze statistical data and reports that assess and compare international competitiveness. 2. Student is able to id.entify the most important factors that determine competitiveness of the economies and enterprises. 3. Student is able to use Porter's Diamond model to analyze the determinants of a nation's competitive advantage relative to other countries. 4. Student acquires skills in team work and he can prepare and present team reports and presentations analyzing competitive position of selected foreign country. Kompetencje społeczne: Student understands ethical problems connected with international competitiveness, especially problems of developing economies. Students understand the impact of environment for competitiveness and can assess mutual connection between them. |
