Efekty uczenia się: |
Wiedza: The student should: 1. understand an essence of information describing financial position of a corporation 2. know sources and alternative possibilities of capital acquisition, 3. understand how various financial factors affect value of corporation and its performance, 4. have a knowledge concerning financing strategies of corporation. Umiejętności: The student should: 1. correctly calculate time value of money at fixed and variable discounting rate, 2. have the ability to utilize a cash flow account in business management, 3. have the ability to estimate weighted average cost of capital in the enterprise, 4. know how to use discounting methods in evaluation of investment projects, 5. be able to analyse correctly an operational risk and a financial risk in the enterprise. Kompetencje społeczne: The student should: 1. understand corporate finance is the area where one should constantly be open to new ideas, new ways of problem solving etc. 2. be aware of the scope for manipulation in financial analysis |

Working Capital. Factoring and securitization. Discounting methods in evaluation of investment projects. Operational and financial risk. Assets financing strategies. Extended Du-Pont Model and theories of capital structure. Fundamentals of budgeting. |

The program of the lecture is focused on extension of students knowledge concerning the theory and a practice of corporate finance covering financial mechanisms within an enterprise and proper application of the financial instruments in management of corporation. |
