  • roczny wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta konieczny do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się dla danego etapu studiów wynosi 1500-1800 h, co odpowiada 60 ECTS;
  • tygodniowy wymiar godzinowy nakładu pracy studenta wynosi 45 h;
  • 1 punkt ECTS odpowiada 25-30 godzinom pracy studenta potrzebnej do osiągnięcia zakładanych efektów uczenia się;

Wiedza:

1. To understand the complexities associated with the international and global physical movement of goods and how such complexities affect the supply, operations and distribution management activities, and financial missions of the firm.

2. To be familiarized with supply chain concept , best practices in supply chain management and the factors which have precipitated the emergence of global supply chain management.

3. To be familiarized with logistics and supply chain management developments within an international and global environment, especially in the EC and in Central-Eastern European countries

Umiejętności:

1. To be able to analyse trade-offs between different functions and activities within the firm as well as with other members of international and global supply chains.

2. To understand various analytical techniques used to solve selected logistics problems.

3. To be able to use theoretical knowledge to analyze and solve problems concerning international logistics

1. Has capabilities of working in a team and of accepting the co-responsibility for the results of group work.

2. Realizes the need of synergistic effects of win-win relationships with internal and external partners.

International logistics is the science discipline and art of management. The general objective of it, is the management of international flows of goods between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to support the supply, operations and distribution management activities and financial missions of a firm.

The general purpose of this course is to examine the role of logistics within a competitive international and global environment and to introduce it as a field of managerial responsibility. The course offers a framework necessary for the analysis of international logistics and supply chain management developments, which are relevant to firms trading and investing on foreign markets. Special attention is paid to logistics developments in Poland and other Central-Eastern European countries. Course description: Effective international logistics management can provide a major source of competitive advantage. Through international logistics may be achieved a firm?s position of enduring superiority in terms of cost and/or value advantage. International logistics management can also impact on overall profitability and shareholder value of a firm.
