Pełny opis:

The aim of the course is to provide the student with specialist knowledge in the field of economic and social regulation, including the application of competition policy in relation to selected industries. For this purpose, guest lectures are provided by experts who are academicians or professionals with the basics of law or economics. It is expected that students will already be familiar with the methodology of economic analysis of regulations in order to conduct an advanced level seminar. Classes are to prepare the student to use their knowledge both from the academic and the so-called policymaking. The topics of the course include such issues as the regulation of liberal professions, public utilities, environmental protection and recent developments in the field of competition law.
