Skrócony opis: |
International economy and globalization. Modern trade theory (classical, neoclassical and alternative approaches). International trade and economic growth. International factor movements. Trade policy instruments. International trade policy. Balance of payments. Exchange rate. Exchange rate determination. International monetary system. Challenges of globalization. |
|
Pełny opis: |
The aim of the course of International economics is first of all gaining the knowledge on economic mechanisms that shape the permanent process of internationalization of the economy. Moreover, one of the most important objectives of the course is to bring an international dimension to the students' abilities to analyze economic phenomena. International Economics is a part of Economics. The ground to separate International economics from the Economics was brought about by two facts: firstly, extreme and permanently growing importance of international trade and other forms of international cooperation, and secondly, many differences that appear in domestic and international economic relations. International Economics is defined as "... part of Economics that explains transactions among countries with regards to the movements of goods and services, and factors of production". |
